Canon Rebel XSi – I'm glad I Got A Canon Xsi
I bought the Canon Rebel XSi in April. I debated for two months as this would be my first real digital SLR. I looked at the 40D, the 50D, the XTi and I ended up doing a simple choice (I knew I wanted to Canon), based on price, features, the number of pixels, the lenses available and my skill level. This camera is up to my expectations and I'm glad I decided on the Canon Rebel XSi. I also bought a Tamron 17-50mm f / 2.8 to go with him and the combination is excellent! Get a Canon if you are unsure of what it receives.
Canon Rebel XSi – Very Nise Prosumer SLR
I bought it for me wife, and she just loves it. This camera is fast, produces good colors and effective AF has gradually more effective than my Nikon D80. It is also somewhat lighter than the D80, which is important for my wife. I like the option of buying only the body, and have combined with Tamron 18-270 mm lens CV, covering the entire range we need, from wide angle to telephoto. And you can find a wide variety of quality lenses for Canon, Tamron and Sigma.
On the downside, it lacks the ability to change Auto AF mode Continuous shooting just touch the button, we have to use the menu to do so. I found this very convenient option on my D80.
In general, so far I like Canon Rebel XSi.
Canon Rebel XSi – Very satisfied
Just out of the box today and took some test shots. Understood as a replacement for my XTi, I had lost. So far I am very impressed with the camera, but I've only had a few interior photos low light so far. The camera feels solid and has all the features the enthusiast would need. As others have mentioned that they have absolutely the best ergonomic fit as the grip is a bit small, but did not affect my rating of 5 stars.
Very impressed with the image stabilization target. Stock starts the Tamron that I had on my XTi.
Its currently June 2009, and as I write this I have to say I was thinking of getting an XS, but for now the Canon Rebel XSi does not cost much more, and Canon has a lot at the time that if you get the kit along with a Canon EF-S Lens 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II for the EOS Digital Rebel XT SLR XTI, 20D and 30D IS digital camera lens that takes 200 dollars out of the purchase price, where the ES can get a different perspective for $ 100 off, effectively both combos decisions about the same price on Amazon. Anyway, if you're okay with having the additional hassle of changing lenses, this promotion makes it more affordable have a range of 18 mm to 200 mm around to buy a mega zoom you had before. Pictures will be better too, since each lens is more dedicated.
